I've got a new toy!! I went and splashed out on the Canon EOS 300D on Saturday, and it's been playtime ever since. Wow, what a lovely camera - shame it takes sooooooooo long to download all the pictures! Mind you, I guess I have been taking 400 or so at a time! Much better than the 40 I could only take on my little Sony (actuall, I borrowed it from work - it goes back Monday! That's why I had to get a new camera).

Any helpful tips from you lot out there that also have a similar camera - thanks 'Boron' for all your advice - would be appreciated. Never used an SLR before.

Off to photograph butterflies today. Mustn't forget my tripod!
